Born in Svitavach, received higher education at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, a journalist by profession, a former speaker in the former Soviet Union and is currently editor of Czech Television.

The author of the documentary “The Country under Ararat” (about the earthquake in Armenia in December 1988, directed by Milan Maryshka), reporter on the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The first visit to Armenia in 1982.

D. Mazalova is author of the famous interview with Ayaz Mutalibov, published in “Nezavisimaya Gazeta”.
